Author Guidelines
OSTI (Originality System of Technology Information) welcomes submissions of high-quality, original research articles, review papers, and other scholarly contributions within its scope. To ensure a smooth submission and publication process, authors must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Manuscript Preparation
General Formatting
- Manuscripts must be written in English with clear, concise, and professional language.
- Use a standard font, such as Times New Roman, 12 pt size, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Margins should be set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Page numbers must appear in the footer, aligned to the right.
Article Structure
- Title: A concise and informative title (maximum 20 words).
- Author Information: Include the full name, affiliation, and email address of all authors. Identify the corresponding author clearly.
- Abstract: A structured abstract (150–250 words) summarizing the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Keywords: Provide 4–6 relevant keywords to enhance discoverability.
- Main Text: Organize the manuscript using the following sections:
- Introduction
- Literature Review (if applicable)
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- References: Use the APA (7th Edition) citation style. Ensure all references are complete and accurate.
- Figures and Tables: Include figures and tables in the manuscript, properly labeled and referenced in the text. Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI).
File Format
- Submit the manuscript as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file.
2. Submission Guidelines
- All submissions must be made through the journal’s online submission system at OSTI Submission Portal.
- Authors are required to register for an account on the platform before submitting their manuscript.
3. Ethical Considerations
- Submissions must comply with OSTI's Plagiarism Policy. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 30% will be rejected.
- Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Proper citation is mandatory for all referenced work, figures, or data.
- All studies involving human or animal subjects must include an ethics statement.
4. Peer Review Process
- OSTI follows a double-blind peer review process.
- Authors will receive feedback from reviewers and editors, typically within 4–6 weeks.
5. Post-Acceptance Process
- Accepted manuscripts will undergo a final proofreading and formatting process.
- Authors will be provided with page proofs for approval before publication.
6. Open Access Policy
OSTI is an open-access journal, and all published articles are freely accessible under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, allowing unrestricted sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.
