The increase in construction activity in various regions has led to a rise in the use of construction materials, including red bricks, which generate a significant amount of waste that has not yet been optimally utilized. On the other hand, construction workers—as the primary implementers of construction projects—generally still lack knowledge regarding the use of construction waste as an alternative material that is both economically valuable and environmentally friendly. One innovation that can be implemented is the use of red brick waste as a concrete admixture to support the concept of sustainable construction while reducing environmental pollution caused by waste accumulation. This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of construction workers through training in the production of environmentally friendly concrete using red brick waste. The activities were conducted using a participatory approach that included outreach, presentation of materials, demonstrations of the concrete production process, hands-on practice by participants, interactive discussions, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. Through this activity, participants are expected to understand the characteristics of red brick waste, determine the appropriate mix composition, and apply environmentally friendly concrete production techniques in simple construction projects. Expected outcomes include an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills, the development of a training module, increased public awareness regarding the utilization of construction waste, the publication of community service articles, and the establishment of sustainable collaboration between universities and the community in supporting the implementation of innovative and sustainable construction technologies.
